Our founder Barney Eidson started Vale Electric in 1998 in Vale, Oregon.

He started with just himself and one/two employees, and since grown to a workforce of more than 40-75 local and non-local licensed electricians when while working on solar projects while employing Medium Voltage Lineman. Vale has continued to grow, adding new projects and areas of specialty such as solar power fields, as we install underground and above-ground wire, working on projects as small as 3.5 megawatts and as large as over 80 megawatts.

Our team has traveled around Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and in 2018 we completed the first ever solar site in Wyoming. Last year we assisted in finishing a site in Kayenta, Arizona near Monument Valley on an Indian Reservation. We are happy to be apart of so many different renewable energy projects and look forward to the next.
